Lure: Bay Area Artists Explore the Sea

In recognition of the America's Cup sailing regatta taking place this summer on the San Francisco Bay, this exhibition brings together works by Bay Area artists who look to the sea as a primary reference in creating art. The exhibition offers a water-centric exploration of a vital Bay Area resource, attempting to reveal fresh insight and meanings inspired by the region's seas.
Artists include Julie Alvarado, Suzy Barnard, Leo Bersamina, Willard Dixon, Jessica Dunne, Nancy Genn, Colin Gift, Julian Honig, Katina Houston, Abner Kingman, Janel Lepin, Ian MacLean, Bonnie Neumann, Judy O'Shea, Susan Parker, Emily Payne, Ken Roberts, Tim Svenonious, and Marie Van Elder.

Kimberly Rowe's NYC Gallery Debut


Kimberly Rowe's piece Laissez Vivre (la Nappe d'Autel) will be part of New York City's Viridian Artists 24th Annual International Exhibition, juried by Elizabeth Sussman, curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

The exhibition opens on Tuesday, July 2nd, and runs through Saturday, July 20th.
Reception on Thursday, July 18th, from 6 to 9 pm.
