Symposium XI

We are so pleased to announce the UC Berkeley Art Alumni Group's Symposium XI:

Exploring the evolving role of technology in relation to contemporary art practice. 

Saturday, October 26, 2013 / 9 am - 4 pm
UC Berkeley, 160 Kroeber Hall

9:00 am - 9:30 am  
Participant registration, refreshments served
- Processing of payment for lunch sales for those who pre-ordered (recommended). 
- A limited number of lunches will be available to buy the day-of the event.  
- Lunch is $15, cash only the day-of the event / pre-pay via PayPal.  
- Provided by Ann’s Catering with vegetarian and vegan options 

9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Morning panel session

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Lunch break
- The catered lunch will be served in the Worth Ryder Gallery, Kroeber Hall.
- For those not taking part in the catered lunch, there are a number of eateries in the area.

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm  
Afternoon panel session

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm 
- Drinks and refreshments will be served in the Worth Ryder Gallery.

Please see the neighboring Berkeley Art Museum's information for visitor's parking.  Kroeber Hall is located across the street (Bancroft Way) and north of BAM.  

Kroeber Hall is easily accessibly by a number of different AC Transit bus lines.  The Downtown Berkeley BART station is a twenty minute walk or short bus ride away.

Critic David Roth will unfortunately not be able to participate in this year's symposium as planned.
