Genn Toffey’s paintings reflect her fascination with the human spirit. Her Great Women of the Past series focuses on women who changed the world – often under hardship. Toffey developed her signature style of painting in thin transparent layers twenty years ago when she lived in New York. Genn Toffey recently moved to the East Bay area after living in South Korea for ten years. A Berkeley native, Toffey is a 3rd generation woman artist.
